Development Committee - 2010

The Development Committee of the Alliance for Children and Families Board of Directors is made up of Alliance member executives and nonmember staff who may also serve on the Alliance board.

The mission of the Development Committee is to secure unrestricted funds and help staff secure restricted resources to support the Alliance. Its purpose is to understand, support, and clearly articulate the mission and vision of the Alliance; maintain an awareness of relevant developments in public policy and funding, providing feedback to management and staff; secure unrestricted resources; express commitment to the Alliance through generous personal giving; educate the board about its philanthropic responsibilities, both in personal giving and outreach to potential donors; and, as appropriate, help staff secure restricted resources.
