The Alliance for Children and Families offers a variety of annual conferences designed to provide learning and networking opportunities to staff at all levels within nonprofit human service organizations.

The Alliance Executive Leadership Conference, for nonprofit human service executive directors and CEOs only, is moving from June to May. This conference offers leadership development, networking, and support from executives across the country. Registration is limited to 50 participants.

SOLD OUT! Contact Hillary Hanson to be placed on the waitlist. Enhance your board chair/CEO relationship during this small group retreat. This event is limited to 10 pairs of CEOs and board chairs. Attendees will discuss general issues in board development and work one-on-one with their colleague to define agency's key strategic issues and needs.
This symposium challenges seasoned CEOs to building the legacies of maestros. This high-level, tailored symposium is designed to help executives with at least 10 years of experience consider how they can triple their personal and organizational impact. The symposium will guide executives in creating a lasting legacy in the nonprofit sector.

The ADVANCE is designed as a national forum for mid-level managers and senior staff within the nonprofit human services sector. The ADVANCE will allow attendees to exchange ideas, promote positive race relations, develop cultural competencies and leaderships skills, and learn how to better serve their organizations' communities. This forum is co-sponsored by the Alliance and InnoVisions, a social enterprise of Neighborhood House Association.

The annual Senior Leadership Conference (SLC) is focused on leadership development. The conference provides exceptional learning, networking, and mentoring experiences that strengthen leadership skills and promote enduring professional relationships. From program managers to COOs, all senior leaders are welcome.
ELI is a leadership certificate program for emerging senior leaders in the nonprofit human services sector. Graduates of the institute gain managerial and leadership skills that position and equip them to meet future needs within their organization. Content is delivered over 100 hours in two concentrated sessions of four-and-one-half days each in concurrent years. ELI is co-sponsored by the University of Michigan School of Social Work and Ross School of Business.
