Special Events for New Members  [TOP]

National Leadership Institute

Tuesday, October 16 ■ Noon–5 p.m.

This special institute has been created for any executives who are new to the Alliance network since October of 2006. This half day event will feature presentations on the seven components of high performing nonprofit organizations, understanding the CEO’s role in changing organizations and in changing times, and how to prepare yourself and your organization for the upcoming leadership deficit. In addition to these stellar presentations, attendees will also have an opportunity to network and share information in small group discussions.

Lunch and the program are included in a modest registration fee that is in addition to the national conference registration. Space is limited to the first 50 participants. For more information, please contact Mary Riordan at mriordan@alliance1.org.

Faculty for this year’s institute include:

  • Suzanne Gibson Wise, president & CEO, Lutheran Family Services in the Carolinas
  • David Simms, managing partner, Bridgestar
  • Peter Goldberg, president & CEO, Alliance for Children and Families
  • Robert E. Duea, Interim Senior Vice President and COO, Alliance for Children and Families.
