The library staff may contact you to help determine your needs. Information is usually mailed to you in 7 to 10 working days.

Information available free-of-charge for full Alliance members. Nonmembers, please see fee-for-service charges below. We are sorry, but we are unable to perform reference and research services for student papers and projects, even though you may be an employee of an Alliance member agency. We only provide services relating directly to the daily or strategic operations of your position or the agency.

** NON-MEMBER FEES
If you are not an Alliance member you may request information from the Severson Center on a fee-for-service basis for the following prices:

Reference services: $150 per hour. [$125 minimum.] Librarians will give estimate of total cost before performing searches.

Additional costs
Photocopies: $1.00 per page

Computerized literature searches: Cost varies according to database hourly cost. Prices for searches usually range from $50-$200 per search.

Fax: $1 per page

Postage: Actual cost of postage, plus $10.00 service fee. All material is sent either by first class U.S. mail, or UPS.

RUSH requests: $20 additional charge for requests mailed within three working days.

DocuShare is a benefit of Alliance membership. Nonmembers may not have DocuShare access.
