Alliance Executive Leadership Conference
Portland, ME This annual conference retreat offers executive directors and CEOs
opportunities for leadership development, networking, and support from
executives across the country. Each year, a committee of Alliance member
peers selects a conference theme that focuses on a key issue or challenge
facing nonprofit human service organizations.

ECSG On the Road—Board Ambassadors: Carrying the Mission to the
Community
St. Louis, MO
Attendees will receive the tools they need to make the most of the
pivotal role board members play in the fund development process. The
workshop will explore in detail the role of board members in
communicating the organization’s mission and impact to prospective
donors within their personal networks. Attendees will learn how to
empower board members to create comfortable conversations about mission
and vision, as well as lay the foundation for successful solicitation of
charitable gifts.

ECSG On the Road: A Wave of Boomers, A Wave of Technology, and a Sea of
Potential Partnerships
West Palm Beach, FL
This workshop is designed to teach
participants how to mobilize the talents and skills of people age 50 and
older in order to help their agencies achieve their missions. It is also
designed to help agencies better understand how to develop partnerships
that can expand their services and market reach without significant
impact on internal resources. The workshop will provide tactics to
create strategic and authentic partnerships with other nonprofits to
enhance service delivery.

The Alliance Civic Engagement Training Institute provides unique
learning and networking opportunities for staff of Alliance and United
Neighborhood Centers of America (UNCA)
member organizations. Participants learn how to incorporate civic
engagement strategies into their organizational plans, transform the
authentic voices of community residents into influence, and impact the
broader social and economic issues facing their communities.

presents participants with the opportunity to experience the best in
networking, professional development, and intellectual stimulation through

governance, innovative programs, leadership, management, and the Alliance’s
