  • Vice President of Evaluation and Accreditation: Within the evaluations and accreditations program, this full-time position is located at the Summit Campus. Education and experience required includes a Masters degree in human services; strong project management skills, excellent written communication skills, and experience in program evaluation and program improvement activities. Understanding of child welfare theory, and experience in COA accreditation are a plus. This position reports to CEO and provide leadership and oversight to organizational efforts for: evaluation and performance quality improvement of multiple programs, maintaining national accreditation, and grant writing.
     
  • Youth Care Worker: This is a part-time position in behavioral care at the Summit Campus. Education and experience requirements include a high school diploma or GED; a college degree is preferred, with a major in Social Work, or equivalent experience. Qualified candidate must have valid Texas Driver’s License and direct care experience. The Youth Care Worker position is responsible for building lasting relationships that help children overcome their past circumstances, improve their behavior, and prepare them to live in a family setting.   • Residential Program Manager: Located at the Wedgwood Campus, this is a full-time job in the residential services program with variable hours. Requirements include a Masters Degree in human services field, clinical licensure or in process, and childcare administrator license or licensable in one year, and five years of experience in residential or child placing care. Under the general administrative direction of the Director of Residential Services (DRS), the Residential Program Manager (RPM) is responsible for the development, maintenance, and evaluation of Wedgwood and LIFE residential programs, Work Skills support services and the development of Transitional Living Services. The job requires sensitivity to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
     
  • Tutor: This is a part-time, residential services/FWISD position located on the Wedgwood Campus, and follows the FWISD school calendar. Applicants must have a college degree and a teaching certificate, and direct experience working with youth. Experience in educational environment is prefered. The tutor position is responsible for helping children and youth in a residential setting with academic work after school.
     
  • Family Home Supervisor: Located on the Wedgwood Campus Morris and Doss Homes, this is a full-time residential services position with variable hours. A Bachelor’s degree in human services field required, along with two years in residential or child placing care. FHS reports to the Residential Program Manager. Responsibilities include: supervision of direct care staff; monitoring the day-to-day operation of a group home; providing case management and transition planning services, including Plan of Service for youth residing in the homes program; and, assisting the family in development of goals leading toward family preservation or alternative placement. The job requires sensitivity to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
     
  • Foster Care Specialist: This is a full-time foster care position at Summit with variable hours. A Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field is required, or a or Bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience. A minimum of one year of documented full time work experience in a child-placing agency with a Master’s degree and a minimum of two years of documented full time work experience in a child placing agency with a Bachelors degree is required. The Foster Care Specialist provides clinical and technical support to Foster/Adoptive parents through intensive case management services, crisis management, home visits, weekly contact, monitoring of standards compliance, documentation, ongoing training and advocacy.
