Holy Family Institute Transition

More than 300 people gathered together on Sept. 16 to honor Sister Linda Yankoski, president and CEO of Alliance member Holy Family Institute. After more than 30 years at Holy Family in various leadership roles, Yankoski will dedicate her ministry at the organization to a part-time role at Holy Family’s Emsworth campus as chief strategic officer for institutional advancement and chair the Holy Family Foundation Board of Trustees. In her new role, Yankoski will transition out of day-to-day management and focus on executive coaching and fundraising activities, leadership development, and building the endowment.

Lauded for her creativity and tenacity, Yankoski also brought those traits to leadership roles with the Alliance. She served on the board of directors for several years, chairing the board for two years. In addition, she also chaired the board of Families International, Inc., the holding company for the Alliance and its affiliated organizations.

Alliance President and CEO Peter Goldberg, speaking at the event on behalf of Alliance members, board of directors, and as a close friend of Yankoski, told those in attendance, “Sister Linda played a significant part in helping to form a very strong, thriving membership association that now serves its members and represents the field at the highest level …. She can look back, I believe, with a great deal of pride, knowing that without her support, guidance, and counsel, we would never have developed to our fullest potential.”
