Carol D. Wood, President and CEO
President and CEO since: May 1992
Total years of service: 35 years; Carol first came to the agency in
January 1972 for a month-long intensive study program while she was
a student at Dana College in Blair, Neb. After this independent
study experience but while she was still in school, Carol was
employed by the agency on an occasional basis as a relief worker in
the children’s residential programs. Her first full-time employment
began after graduation in May 1973. She has served the organization
in several positions, including as activities worker, foster care
and adoption worker, family therapist, director of family centered
services, and vice president of professional services.
