This teleconference featuring Lindsey Hodel of Nonprofit VOTE focuses on the basics of creating a voter registration campaign at your organization, including how to stay nonpartisan and how to tap into Nonprofit VOTE’s state-based partners and resources.

  • Measuring impact at your organization and across the Alliance network
  • Establishing an initiative:
    • Has it been easy or difficult to get your colleagues on board for this initiative?
    • How do you deal with someone who is cynical, whether a potential voter or a colleague?

Engaging and Supporting Staff
June 14 from 1:30-2:30 CT

This call will focus on how to engage staff members in voter registration initiatives. This includes training staff on how to have conversations with program participants about voting, as well as registering staff members to vote. Panelists include Chris Hanway, executive director of Alliance member Jacob Riis Settlement House in New York.
