Bridging the Gap for Nonprofits

Executive consultantsOur members regularly seek talented and effective consultants to bridge the gap when nonprofit organizations need supplemental talents and resources to get the job done. But contracting with a consultant can be worrisome, time-consuming and costly. The Alliance for Children and Families has established the Executive Consultant Select Group to help our members to fulfill this need confidently and cost-effectively.

The program has been carefully structured to provide strong benefits both to members who use the service and for the consultants who participate. The Alliance searches out consultants in specific topical areas commonly needed by our nonprofit members, investigates their backgrounds and expertise, and negotiates agreements that provide members with simplified access to thoroughly vetted consultants at a membership discount.

The Ultimate Agency Advantage
As an example of our determination to be your “ultimate agency advantage,” the Select Group is part of a continuing series of initiatives designed to increase the value of Executive consultants Select Group article as seen in Children and Famililies Magazineparticipation for Alliance members. Headed by Undraye Howard at Alliance headquarters, the group will connect members with specialized professional consulting services they might need in directing their organizations.

Executive consultantsMembers will enjoy distinct benefits from the program: convenience, discounts and confidence in the quality of the Alliance-approved consultant. Consultants benefit through a direct connection to our members and the countless resources they manage. Both sides also benefit from the guidance of Undraye Howard, who facilitates connections, provides oversight throughout the project and evaluates the experience from both perspectives after completion.

The Select Group—representing only the best, brightest and most engaging in their respective fields of talent—will help Alliance members readily locate and benefit from the services of consultants who understand the needs and concerns of nonprofit human service agencies. Select Group consultants are assessed nominal fees to ensure this program is effectively developed, supported, monitored and administered to the mutual benefit of all, both Alliance members and consultants. For further information, contact Undraye Howard or call (414) 359-1040 ext 3618.
