American Association of Children’s Residential Centers
The American Association of Children’s Residential Centers (AACRC) is a national, nonprofit membership association for organizations that provide therapeutic treatment in residential settings.
AACRC is managed under a partnership agreement with the Alliance for Children and Families.
AACRC brings together residential treatment professionals in order to advance the frontiers of knowledge pertaining to the spectrum of therapeutic living environments for youth with behavioral health disorders. Its more than 120 member organizations work closely with families and communities to provide the full complement of therapy to children who need it most.
The efforts of AACRC are guided by the belief that children and adolescents, as well as their families, are entitled to treatment that offers the maximum opportunity for growth and change.
