| Ethics for Youth Care Workers: Prepared to Make Informed Decisions - Part I
____________________________________________________ Date: Tuesday, October 21, 2008 Time: 1 p.m. Central (2 p.m. Eastern/11 a.m. Pacific) Assisting youth care workers with their responsibilities is the goal of this three-part webinar series hosted by the Alliance's Executive Consultant Select Group (ECSG) in collaboration with the American Association of Children's Residential Centers (AACRC). Do your direct care workers know the youth care worker code of ethics? Are they able to implement this vital set of standards into their daily work? This webinar will focus on reviewing or introducing the youth care worker code of ethics in your workplace. After building awareness of its importance, case studies will be used to begin helping youth care workers feel confident in applying the code of ethics to everyday situations that require decision-making skills. All participants will receive a copy of the code of ethics to review and utilize in their work. Part II of this series will be a continuation of this topic, and will be held Wednesday, November 5 at 1 p.m. Central. Part III of this series, titled "Preparing the Youth Care Worker to Care for Someone Special-Themselves!" will be held Wednesday, November 19 at 1 p.m. Central. To register: The cost to register is $49.95 per webinar. Or purchase the entire series at $135 and save! Complete this registration form. Please contact Ann Koerner with any questions. |
