Member organizations of the Alliance for Strong Families and Communities receive a member benefits package designed with a clear understanding of the needs and expectations of nonprofit human service organizations.

If you need INFORMATION ABOUT TRENDS:
National Radar System. The Alliance serves as members’ national radar system, keeping them up to date about changing trends and opportunities.
Workshops, Meetings, and Conferences. Several are free for members; others may include registration fees. All targeted to keep members abreast of changes in the nonprofit sector.
If you need PERSPECTIVE FROM PEERS:
Customized Peer Networking. Members with specific challenges or questions are connected for free to members who have successfully overcome similar circumstances.
Peer Networking. Free Alliance Peer Exchange groups facilitate peer networking, knowledge development, and information sharing around specific professional responsibilities and program and organization orientations. Examples include marketing and communications, human resources, resource development, health and wellness, and small-budget organizations.
Severson Center Digital Collections. These web-based collections are available to all staff at Alliance member organizations and include a wide variety of Alliance member materials and free access to EBSCOhost.
If you need CONNECTIONS IN PUBLIC POLICY:
Access and Impact in Washington. Members’ voices heard through sign-on letters and participation in facilitated conference calls with key congressional staff.
Public Policy News and Updates. Public policy office disseminates policy briefs, news updates, and legislative analyses from the nonprofit human services perspective.
If you need ADVICE FROM INDUSTRY EXPERTS:
Webinars and Teleconferences. Many free to members; others have reduced fees. All address timely topics affecting the nonprofit human services sector.
Accreditation Assistance. Free guidance from Severson Center. Discounted fees for the Council on Accreditation.
If you need SOURCES OF REVENUE:
Funding Assistance. Resource Development Solutions program facilitates networking and knowledge development. Severson Center provides free funding searches. Free email updates about new funding opportunities. Regranted funds periodically available.
Revenue-Generating Opportunities. Members and member staff can join FEI Behavioral Health’s network of paid employee assistance providers and crisis management responders. Through marketing and sales collaborations, FEI helps market members’ products and members earn commission for selling FEI’s services.
If you need OPPORTUNITIES FOR CONTINUOUS LEARNING:
Families in Society. Free quarterly social work journal. Offers continuing education program to help professional staff stay up to date with field and satisfy licensing and certification requirements.
Professional Development. Numerous opportunities to earn continuing education credits. Access to discounted undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Opportunities for individuals aspiring to high-level leadership to receive professional training at Executive Leadership Institute.
If you need TALENTED STAFF:
Human Services Compensation Report. Free annual evaluation and analysis for members that participate in the nationwide survey. Empowers members to make informed decisions about compensation and benefits at their organization.
Job Board. Post vacant positions on Alliance website for free.
