Alliance Mission & Vision

Our MISSION is to fuse intellectual capital with superior membership services in order to strengthen the capacities of North America’s nonprofit child- and family-serving organizations to serve and to advocate for children, families, and communities so that together we may pursue a VISION of a healthy society and strong communities for all children and families.

In carrying out its mission, the Alliance for Children and Families makes four promises to its members:

• Networking. The best national peer network.
• Knowledge. Useful, timely, and relevant information.
• Solutions. Innovative solutions to difficult challenges.
• Public Policy. Access and influence in the nation’s capitol.

Alliance Priorities

• Members First Philosophy. The Alliance holds member organizations as its first priority, has a clear understanding of members’ needs and expectations, and strives to create an exceptional customer experience for its members.
   
• Champions of the Nonprofit Human Service Sector. The Alliance recognizes and respects the role of nonprofit human service organizations as pillars of a health society and strong communities, understands the uniqueness of its position as a membership organization, and plays a significant role at the national level.
