Online Certificate in Aging Program

The Alliance for Children and Families annually awards as many as 100 scholarships to staff and board members at Alliance member organizations. These scholarships cover the full cost of participation in the online Certificate in Aging program at the Boston University School of Social Work's Institute for Geriatric Social Work (IGSW).

These scholarships are made possible through a partnership between the Alliance’s New Age of Aging initiative and IGSW.

Participants earn their Certificate in Aging after completing five self-paced online courses. Courses provide participants with a core foundation of aging-related knowledge and skills. Participants can also earn up to 21 continuing education units.
