Florida United Methodist Children’s Home in Enterprise, Fla. recently joined Alliance membership. The organization provides children with a safe and loving living environment where they are given the opportunity to become self-sufficient adults.
People’s Emergency Center in Philadelphia recently joined the Alliance membership network. The organization provides support services to homeless women, children, and advocates for social justice.
Alliance members Youth Villages in Memphis, Tenn. and Partnership for Strong Families in Gainesville, Fla., recently were selected as winners in Starbucks’ Vote. Give. Grow. grant program. Youth Villages received $145,000 in total for five of its sites and Partnership for Strong Families was awarded $30,000.
Green Chimneys Children’s Services in Brewster, N.Y., has added 32 seats to its therapeutic day school to meet the growing need of special education in area school districts and families. The therapeutic day school is designed to meet the needs of student in grades 5-8 who have been unsuccessful in traditional educational settings.
Lake Valley Camp in Milwaukee recently joined Alliance membership. The organization provides learning and growth opportunities for youth in under served communities.
