New Severson Center Favorite Resource: TechSoup

The Alliance for Children and Families’ Severson Center recently named TechSoup as its favorite resource for October.

TechSoup is a nonprofit organization that offers technology-related information and products to meet the needs of nonprofits.

TechSoup's learning center provides articles, worksheets, product comparisons, and free webinars about topics such as:

• Website design
• Developing a technology plan
• Using social media
• Database design and management
• Online fundraising

In addition, organizations that register for free with TechSoup may order from more than 400 products that have been donated by more than 40 different partners. Donated products include refurbished computers and software, such as Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and Adobe Creative Suite 5.5. To access these products, registered users only need to pay related administrative fees.
