Program Areas and Grant Opportunities
The Aramark-Alliance partnership includes four key programs and grants.
A forum to enhance the operational and program excellence of community centers in the areas of health and wellness and employment through learning and grant opportunities. In 2013 and 2014, a total of $150,000 was distributed to eight Alliance member organizations to increase the scale of strong health and wellness programs. This exclusive grant opportunity is open to all Alliance member organizations.
Aramark Building Community Grants
These funds allow community centers and local Aramark employees to develop and collaborate on a yearlong activity plan within Aramark’s two major focus areas: Health and wellness and workforce readiness. Once the teams have established the goals for the year, community centers lead the process of submitting the grant applications and reporting on completed activities.
Aramark Building Community Day
This is a single day that unites thousands of Aramark employees globally volunteer together and celebrate their year-round commitment to inspire families to lead healthier lifestyles and help people succeed through education and employment.
Aramark Building Community Organizational Leadership Award
The Aramark Building Community Organizational Leadership Award (formerly known as the Peter B. Goldberg Aramark Building Community Executive Leadership Award) honors one exceptional high-impact organization that is driving a culture of population health and well-being within its community. It identifies an organization that is a true change agent that elevates its staff and communities in leadership, manifesting itself in a more equitable approach, sustained community change, and measurable improvement in population health and well-being. The award winner is recognized at national events and receives speaking opportunities, promotional tools, and a $15,000 grant.
