Alliance Workshops
The Alliance for Children and Families’ offers a variety of one- and two-day workshops throughout the country.
Many workshops are sponsored by the Alliance Executive Consultant Select Group (ECSG) and hosted at Alliance member member organizations across the country. Featuring the expertise of the more than 24 ECSG consultants, these On the Road Workshops are an opportunity to gain understanding and knowledge on timely topics, including leadership development, financial matters, and human resources.
Alliance members are offered a discounted registration fee as a benefit of membership.
Upcoming Workshops

This two-day meeting is designed to address the challenges and opportunities faced by CFOs now and in the future. The first day will include a discussion of the Alliance for Children and Families' newest report Disruptive Forces: Driving A Human Services Revolution. The second day will focus primarily on employee incentives and compensation.

This workshop will enable participants to identify the four pillars of successful nonprofit leadership. It also will include a session on the role of leadership in philanthropy. Attendees will take away specific actions that can immediately be implemented to dramatically improve their leadership skills and help their organizations.

This two-day training will provide attendees with the knowledge of military life they need to provide culturally competent services. It will concentrate on the normative reintegration challenges veterans’ experience when they return home from their military service.
