Webinar Description

This webinar, presented by Project N95, will provide information and resources to ensure human services organizations have the access to the personal protective equipment needed to effectively support their communities.

Project N95 is the national COVID-19 clearinghouse for personal protective equipment (PPE) and other critical medical equipment. The mission of this rapid response nonprofit is to get critical equipment into the hands of frontline workers as quickly as possible by:

  • Performing due diligence on suppliers and products to accelerate procurement and sourcing
  • Processing and validating requests for PPE and critical equipment to match them with the right vetted suppliers and products
  • Coordinating with governments and other purchasers to aggregate orders and assist COVID-19 response teams with sourcing, procuring, and equitably distributing critical medical equipment

During this webinar, participants will learn how to use Project N95 as a resource to find suppliers of the PPE they need and how Project N95 supports organizations with small order quantities by aggregating orders or working with other aggregators. Project N95 is also fundraising to be able to meet the needs of requesters that do not have resources to cover their current equipment needs.

In addition, webinar participants will have the opportunity to share more about their needs, challenges, and concerns related to procuring PPE. Project N95 staff will answer questions, and will also use this conversation to help shine a light on the PPE needs of human service organizations specifically, and the importance of these organizations to COVID-19 response and recovery, particularly in light of the significant disparities we are seeing in terms of COVID-19 impact on minority populations.
