The Alliance for Strong Families and Communities is pleased to announce that Connecticut Department of Social Services in Hartford, Connecticut, has joined the Alliance for Strong Families and Communities strategic action network as of February 2019.
The Connecticut Department of Social Services is a multi-faceted health and human services agency helping nearly 1 million residents throughout Connecticut. Services are delivered from its central office in Hartford, 12 field offices, online, and through a 211 call center.
The office supports the basic needs of children, families, persons with disabilities, and adults of all ages. Areas of service and support include but are not limited to:

- Independent Living and Home Care

- Home-Heating Aid
