The Alliance for Strong Families and Communities launched a series of webinars and an online discussion forum for community-based human services organizations to discuss the potential health impact and business disruptions as a result of the new coronavirus (COVID-19).
Online Discussion
The member discussion, COVID-19 Preparedness and Response, recognizes that community-based human service organizations need specialized support and can benefit from sharing solutions with oneanother regarding potential risks with so much of our work being done in people’s homes, congregate and group settings, and in the community.
Separate space in the discussion is available for workplace policy and procedure questions, federal public policy updates, and general questions.
Once logged into the Alliance’s online community, the discussion will be in the left-hand sidebar of your dashboard. All staff at Alliance member organizations may access the discussion and online learning community by creating an account.
This forum is for members to post and answer questions and share solutions. It should not be viewed as a definitive source of validated or scientific evidence, but it is a way for members to learn and network with one another on this matter, which is unique to our sector. Alliance staff will not be participating in the discussions but will be monitoring it for trends and opportunities for responsiveness.
Resources Collection
The Alliance Library also has an expanded collection on COVID and pandemic resources.
