This toolkit is designed to support members of the Alliance for Strong Families and Communities network in raising awareness of the importance of community-based human services organizations, which become even more vital in times of crisis. To assist organizations in raising critical funds, this toolkit includes a national fundraising campaign with graphics and sample posts as well as media outreach templates. Use these tools to leverage your visibility as part of the national Alliance network and raise awareness for your specific community impact and financial needs.
The Alliance will begin posting the national social media campaign to its social media channels Monday, April 20. All Alliance members are encouraged to participate as soon as they are able and when it makes sense for their social media and fundraising schedules. Because the pandemic's timeframe is unknown and will vary by region, there is no specific end date for the campaign. Use these assets for as long as they are appropriate for your organization and community.
